Booneville Woman Accused of Stealing at Church

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A Prentiss County woman is accused of stealing from another woman while she was at church.

Sharon Jean Sallie is charged with burglary of a church.

According to Sheriff Randy Tolar, Sallie went into the Jumpertown Methodist Church and took a wallet from a church member’s purse.

The 45 year old Booneville native is also facing credit card fraud charges in Ripley.

She is being held for the Mississippi Department of Corrections on a 5 thousand dollar bond.
