Booneville Woman Charged With Domestic Violence, Possession

PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — A Booneville woman is behind bars on a domestic violence charge and possession charge.

Prentiss County Sheriff’s Department (PCSD) deputies arrested 44-year-old Traci Nicole Perry Sunday.

According to a press release provided by the PCSD, deputies discovered “numerous dosage units of prescription medications” on Perry’s person after she was entered into jail.

Perry faces an additional charge of possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility.

Perry’s bond was set at $6,000 ($1,000 for the domestic violence charge; $5,000 on the possession charge).

As of 2 p.m. Wednesday, Perry remains in jail.
