Video: Columbus Teacher Facing Federal Charges

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) – Columbus Middle School math teacher Paul Jackson has been arrested by U.S. Marshalls.  The U.S. Attorneys office confirms Jackson was taken into custody Tuesday morning but would not elaborate on the charges.  He is set to appear in Federal Court later today where details in the case will be revealed.

Columbus Schools superintendent Dr. Phillip Hickman tells WCBI Jackson will be placed on administrative leave with pay until the district has more information.
