CPD Investigating Columbus Shooting

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) – Columbus Police are investigating a midday shooting which has left one man injured.

Police say a man was walking in the 700 block of 18th Street North when he was shot in the arm.  He has been taken to BMH-GT where he is expected to recover from the wounds.  Police are searching for a dark colored Nissan Altima with tinted windows.  That’s the car the shooter fled the scene in.  WCBI will have the latest on this story as it develops
