Calhoun City High School to host shooting drill

CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WCBI) – An active shooter on campus is the drill. Calhoun City High School will be responding Friday.

The shooting drill will involve law enforcement from around the region, school officials, and emergency responders.

Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says the drill will begin sometime Friday morning and continue throughout the day.

Parents should not come to the scene.

MEMA is organizing the realistic drill. They say it is a way to practice the school’s security plan and improve preparedness.
