Calhoun County Man Charged With Killing His Wife

CALHOUN CITY, Miss. (WCBI) – A grand jury indicted a Calhoun County man accused of killing his wife.

32 year-old Matthew Collins is charged with first degree murder.

Sheriff Greg Pollan says Courtney Leigh Collins died from drowning.

Collins told investigators this past February he was riding a four wheeler with his wife when the ATV got stuck.

Then he went to get some tools.

When he returned his wife was missing.

Courtney Collins was found more than a hundred yards away from the four wheeler.
