Car Chase Ends In Arrest

MANTEE, Miss. (WCBI)- A car chase ends in an arrest after a man refuses to pull over during a traffic stop.

On Wednesday afternoon, Webster County Sheriff’s Deputies tried to stop Dontavious Deloach in Mantee.

Sheriff Tim Mitchell says Deloach failed to yield, was driving recklessly, and would not pull over.

Investigators say Deloach led Sheriff’s deputies on a chase from Webster into Clay county. The car came to a stop on Highway 46.

The 21-year-old  from Houston was arrested, and more charges were added.

Deloach also has a hold from the Houston Police Department for a felony warrant.
