Car Overturns, Driver Escapes Injury In Lowndes Crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – A women escapes injury after her car overturns into a ditch on Monday afternoon.

The crash happened about 1:30 PM in the 2,300 block of Nashville Ferry Road.

Lowndes County deputies say the female driver told them her brakes locked up, causing her to wreck.

She was trapped inside the Ford Taurus for a short while before getting out unharmed.

The Lowndes County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the accident.
