LOUISVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) -The Winston County Library Teen Council held its first career day program today at the local library. Children of all ages were able to come out and learn a little bit more about careers they might like to pursue. Participants included the Winston County Sheriff’s department, the local news paper and even the Mayor’s Youth Council.

“Many people have come to donate their time to help people who don’t know what they’re going into, we have people from legal, fire department just all types of careers,” said Austin Chambliss, President of the Teen Council.

The event was free and open to the public. The teen council looks forward to hold more events like this one.
