CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Clay County deputies seize about two pounds of marijuana.

Now, two people are in jail tonight.

34-year-old Jerry Holliday and 30-year-old Ashley Salter are charged with manufacturing marijuana and two counts each of child endangerment.

Clay County Sheriff Eddie Scott says the child endangerment charge comes from the drugs being inside the Una home. The children are in the custody of the Department of Human Services.

Bond was set at $45,000 for Holliday and Salter.

In an unrelated case, 34-year-old Benjamin Bennett was charged with possession of cocaine.

He is also in jail on a $25,000 bond and has a hold on the Mississippi Department of Corrections.

The cases remain under investigation.
