Central Mississippi Couple Slain

CLINTON, Miss. (AP) – Authorities say a central Mississippi couple have been found dead, and a man who had a business relationship with them is charged in their deaths. Interim Clinton Police Chief Mike Warren tells The Clarion-Ledger (http://on.thec-l.com/13pEK87 ) that the two apparently were beaten or stabbed to death. He did not release their identities, pending notification of relatives. Warren says 47-year-old Willie Williams of Clinton is charged with murder after calling Jackson police early Friday and telling them he had killed the two. Warren says it appears the two were killed late Thursday. Authorities say the killing stems from an argument Williams had with the couple over work he did for them at their home. It was not immediately clear if Williams has an attorney.
