Video: Charges Filed in Weekend Shooting

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police file official charges against the man they believe is responsible for a weekend shooting spree.

19-year-old Tyriq Kidd is behind bars, facing two counts of aggravated assault, two counts of shooting into a motor vehicle, and one count of shooting into an occupied building.

Kidd is accused of a Saturday morning shooting at the Sprint Mart on Highway 69 South.

One person was hurt.

Kidd turned himself in to Columbus police, Tuesday.

His bond was set at $175,000.
