Chase Ends in Crash Into Clothesline
COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Lowndes County narcotics agents say 32-year-old Pierre Colvin was arrested on a variety of charges after he fled officers shortly after 1 p.m. Friday and started a chase through a neighborhood off 14th Avenue North in Columbus.
He drove through several backyards trying to avoid officers but the chase ended when he crashed into a clothes line pole. He fled on foot but was quickly caught.
The chase began when agents were checking information that people were gathering outside a store near Railroad Street and 14th Avenue and selling drugs in the afternoon.
As agents approached the business, Colvin fled.
