NORTH MISSISSIPPI, (WCBI) — New Albany had to bundle up Monday night for the annual Christmas parade.

Residents lined up along Bankhead as they waited for the parade to begin. The theme this year was “An Enchanted Christmas.” The junior ROTC detachment from New Albany high school marched smartly along the route. It was followed by various floats with plenty of lights and music. Organizers were very pleased with the turnout.

A similar scene of holiday cheer in the small Lowndes County town of Artesia. The streets were lit up with plenty of fun floats and happy faces for those who received a handful of candy.

The sights and sounds were just enough to get everyone in the mood for the season. Santa Clause was also on hand for the annual Christmas Parade.
