Clay Co. Residents to see Property Tax Increase

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Clay County residents could soon be paying slightly more in county property taxes.

County officials say on average, residents will be paying about $10 more than they did last year.

The additional money will go toward improvements at local community colleges.

The board of supervisors will have a public hearing on the new budget, September 13.

It goes into effect October 1.
