Clay County Man Faces Multiple Charges

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – It started out as a man flagging down cars in Clay County, but soon turned into a burglary investigation.

41 year old Willie Lee White is charged with two counts of auto burglary, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, failure to comply, public drunk and resisting arrest.

Sheriff Eddie Scott says deputies were called about a man walking down the highway trying to stop vehicles.

Deputies found White had two stolen guns from the Windy Ridge Community.
