Video: Clay County Officials Get Sworn In

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Clay County starts it’s new year swearing in their elected officials.

Monday morning, over a dozen county leaders took the oath, surrounded by their family and friends.

Among the sworn in, the Board of Supervisors, Justice Court Judges, Constables, Courthouse leaders and the Sheriff.

Chancery Clerk, Amy Berry, says her goal is to just make sure things keep getting easier for the people they serve.

“Continue serving people of Clay County, and to continue trying to grow the office to make the office efficient and more accessible to the people of Clay County.

After the ceremony the group celebrated with refreshments.
