Clay County Road Repairs

CLAY COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Some much needed repairs are on the way for Clay County residents. Travelers will soon have freshly paved road to travel on thanks to some road maintenance money.

Monday during the Clay County Board of Supervisors meeting District 1 Supervisor Lynn Horton said, he plans on taking out a $500,000 bond to improve road conditions to Vinton Road, Barton Ferry Road, White station Road among others. A soon as the bond procedure is complete work will begin immediately, starting with Vinton Road.

District 5 Supervisor Floyd McKee is also issuing for a $400,000 bond to repair a stretch of Billy White Road, Magnolia Road and Colony Road.
