Clay County Roundup Nets 21 Arrests

PRESS RELEASE

The Clay County Sheriff Department on Tuesday, May 20 initiated a roundup of individuals whom were wanted on indictments that were handed down by the Clay County Grand Jury in April of this year. Assisted by the West Point Police Department, Mississippi Highway Patrol, Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics, Mississippi Department of Corrections, Oktibbeha County Sheriff Department and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks, twenty one individuals were arrested.

The following individuals were arrested and charged:

Charles Nance, 53, of West Point was charged with Sale of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine – 4 counts (Habitual Offender).

James Collins, 44, of West Point was charged with Child Abuse.

Lajarvis Holmes, 24, of West Point was charged with Burglary of an Automobile.

Brown, Demarius, 27, of West Point was charged with Aggravated Assault.

Gary Kuhn, 58, of West Point was charged with Sale of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine – 2 counts.

Roger Brooks, 52, of West Point charged with Sale of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine.

Demetric Pulliam, 27, of West Point charged with Accessory after the Fact.

Dennis Coleman, 47, of West Point charged with Possession of Controlled Substance-Amphetamine.

Lavoris Rupert, 31, of West Point charged with Possession of Cocaine.

Pamela Lee, 37, of Cedar Bluff charged with ID Theft – 5 counts and Fraudulent use of ID – 5 counts.

Kim Brown, age 43, of West Point charged with Sale/Transfer of Hydrocodone.

Avis Shelton, age 43, of West Point charged with Domestic Violence-Aggravated Assault.

Joshua Earnest, age 28, of West Point charged with DUI-3rd.

Carolyn Jordan, age 22, of Starkville charged with Fraudulent Use of ID – 1 count and Uttering Forgery – 1 count.

Bennie Lee Ivy, 48, of Prairie charged with Sale of Controlled Substance – Hydrocodone.

James McKinney, 32, of Maben charged with Armed Robbery.

Kevin Starks, 29 of Mantee charged with Domestic Violence-Aggravated Assault.

Beronica Logan, 32 of West Point charged with Burglary of a Dwelling.

Kameyon Webber, 23 of West Point charged with Simple Assault on Law Enforcement Officer.

Richard Wilson, 21, of West Point charged with Domestic Violence-Aggravated Assault.

Cornill Logan, 29, of West Point charged with Sale of Controlled Substance-Methamphetamine-2 counts and Sale of Controlled Hydrocodone-1 count.
