Columbus Arts Council Holds a Special Christmas Program

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — It was looking a lot like Christmas at the Columbus Arts Council building on Saturday.
Some of the kids got to enjoy a special Christmas program.

The program featured storytelling, art projects, based on the holiday season.

The book theme was based on Katie and the Starry Night.

Rebecca Hester say the kids enjoy the event and it gives the parents time to shop during the holiday season.

“Experiencing different types of holiday culture, special stories and then of course we have Mrs. Claus come and do Christmas songs and everybody loves Mrs. Claus,” said Rebecca Hester.

The Columbus Arts Council Christmas Program has been going on for the last five years.
