Columbus Baptist Memorial Hospital Free From Job Cuts

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Baptist Memorial Healthcare is cutting 112 jobs, but Columbus’ Golden Triangle branch will come out scot-free.

The Memphis-based hospital system is shrinking their workforce in a cost reduction plan.

Oxford steered clear of the layoffs, but 11 jobs were cut at Booneville, and three in New Albany.

Most of the cuts came in corporate services.
