Columbus Council Sets Special Meeting

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) – Columbus Council members have been called to a special meeting Friday morning at 9:00.  The notice sent out just after five Thursday afternoon lists two items.  One is a parade permit request placed on the agenda  by Council member Marty Turner.  The second is an executive session to deal with 3 personnel matters.  State law does not allow council members to disclose who those personnel are so it is not certain if those 3 cases are the 3 officers who are currently on leave in the aftermath of the fatal shooting of Ricky Ball.
