Video: Columbus Hosts Christmas Tree Bonfire

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Dozens of Columbus residents braved the cold Monday night for the city’s annual Christmas tree bonfire.

This event gives residents a chance to recycle their unwanted live Christmas trees.

As they watched the trees burn, residents listened to music and enjoyed hot chocolate.

This is the second year the city has hosted the bonfire.
