Columbus Man Arrested on Felony Drug Charges
STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) — A Columbus man is behind bars on felony charges after a recent traffic stop in Starkville.
Starkville police say they pulled 25-year-old Marcos Felton over for speeding.
Officers say they then found a large amount of marijuana, cocaine and a stolen pistol from Georgia in his car.
Police say they also found some Xanax in an unmarked prescription bottle.
Investigators are charging Felton with felony possession of marijuana, cocaine, and possession of a stolen firearm.
He’s also being charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance.
His bond has been set at $5,000.
