Columbus Man Faces Multiple Charges For Allegedly Kicking Down A Door

Columbus, Mississippi (WCBI) – Columbus police say he kicked down a door to someone else’s home and a Columbus man is facing multiple charges.

John Ballard Roland Jr., 23, is charged with burglary of a dwelling, domestic violence, public drunkenness, and in violation of the brown bag ordinance.

Investigators say Roland went a house in the 200 block of East Plymouth Road on Monday. Officers believe the incident occurred because of an argument.

Roland’s bond was set at $10,000.
