Columbus Man Faces Rape Charge

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) – Columbus police are moving ahead with charges in connection with a report of an improper relationship between and adult and a teenager.

A report was filed last week claiming 23 year old Joseph Ervin

was involved with a 14 year old girl.  After investigating the claims, Police made the decision to charge Ervin  with statutory rape.  Bond for Ervin is set at 25 thousand dollars.
