Columbus Man Sentenced In West Point Shooting

WEST POINT, Miss. (WCBI) – A Columbus man is sentenced to 30 years in jail in connection with a West Point shooting.

Byron Perry, 29, was convicted of aggravated assault and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon.

The shooting happened May 24th, 2010.

He was sentenced this week in Clay County Justice Court.
