Columbus Motel 6 Robbery

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) -Columbus police are searching for the people who robbed guests at Motel 6. The incident happened around noon Tuesday.

Investigators say the robbers asked for the victims by name and then went to their room.

The victims knew who the suspects were, and when they entered the room, that’s when both suspects pulled pistols.

A fight broke out and that’s when a maid walked in on the incident because she heard noise coming from the room.

The suspects stole $280.00 and ran.

Investigators say they are pursuing active leads.
