Video: Columbus Murder Indictment Handed Down

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The man accused of killing his cousin is indicted for first degree murder.

A Lowndes County grand jury returned the indictment against Billy Lee Kennedy.

Carl Junior Miller, 41, was found shot inside a truck on Puckett Ridge Parkway last February.

At the time of the shooting, Columbus police released few details about the shooting.

Kennedy originally gave investigators a fake name.

His bond was set at $100,000.
