Police Investigating Possible Stabbing

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police are investigating a possible weekend stabbing.

Officers were called to 1901 Main Street shortly before 3:30 a.m., Saturday, to a report of a person being stabbed.

Investigators say a group of people got into a fight, and a 22-year-old man was taken to the hospital with a cut to his back.

Police still don’t know if the man was accidentally cut by a piece of glass, or if he was stabbed.

They’re still investigating.
