Columbus Police Make Drug Arrests

On April 16th at approx. 11:26 p.m., the Columbus Police Department Special Operations Group (SOG) had a safety check point at 18th Street and 7th Ave. During one of the stops, CPD officers noticed the smell of Marijuana coming from the vehicle. Officer checked the vehicle further and found driver McArthur Bradley Jr. to be in possession of Marijuana (misdemeanor amount) and Possession of Cocaine (felony).

On April 17th at approximately 1:39 a.m., CPD Narcotics agent , along with SOG units, conducted a search warrant on 2304 Marvin Street in Columbus MS. Agents had been receiving tips from concerned citizen’s about this location. Suspected Cocaine was found inside the house. Brandon Orr, Jamie Lamar Warren, Mary Alexandria Pruitt and Sylvia Ann Hollin were all arrested from the residence.

On Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at approximately 1:56am Officers stopped and checked on a suspicious

vehicle. The driver was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended licenses. While the officer was searching the suspect cocaine was found in his pocket.
