Columbus Police Make Weapon And Burglary Arrests

Press release: “On 10/10/2014, The Columbus Police Department was notified in reference to a male in the street with a gun in the area of 16th Street North and 8th Avenue North. Upon arrival, Officer with the Columbus Police Department made contact with a male individual identified as Tamarcus Thomas. Tamarcus Thomas was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. After further investigation, Tamarcus Thomas was determined to be a convicted felon and was charged with Possession of Weapon by Felon. Tamarcus Thomas was taken before Columbus Municipal Court Judge Marc Amos and bond was set at $35,000.00 with court date set for November 6, 2014.

On 10/28/2014, the Columbus Police Department arrested Dylan Gordon in connection with a burglary that occurred on 10/09/2014 on Ryan’s Place in Columbus. Gordon is alleged to have stolen several items from the home. A warrant was issued for Mr. Gordon’s arrest and he turned himself in to investigators on 10/28/2014. Mr. Gordon’s bond was set at $5,000 by Judge Amos.”
