Video: Columbus Police Make Weekend Meth Arrests

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Columbus police had a busy weekend making drug arrests.

On Saturday, officers conducted a traffic stop on Lehmberg Road at Highway 50.

They say they found meth in the car, and arrested Kimberly Norton and April Richardson.

Police charged the pair with possession of methamphetamine.

The next day, officers stopped a car on Maxwell Lane at North Browder Street.

There, investigators say they found a small amount of marijuana, and a felony amount of meth.

Jamie Thorsen, Courtney Beckwith, and Cedric Gunter were all charged with possession of methamphetamine.
