Video: Columbus School Board Meets Before Holiday Break

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Columbus school board is having its last meeting before breaking for the holidays.

On Monday night, the board approved the school district’s strategic plan, though two board members wanted to hold off on a vote.

Scott Murrah, a former teacher and principal with the district, also spoke at the meeting.

He expressed concern with some public perception of school leaders, saying he wants them to work as a team.
