Columbus Teachers Get Ecolab Grants

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) — Seven Stokes-Beard Technology and Communication Magnet Elementary School teachers have received 2013 Ecolab Foundation Visions for Learning grants.

These educators’ innovative proposals were selected for funding by Ecolab’s grant committee.

Since 1986, Ecolab’s signature Visions for Learning program has provided curriculum-enhancing materials for teachers and their classrooms in communities across the U.S. These materials help teachers augment classroom curriculum to increase understanding of academic content, raise student achievement and emphasize the connection between school and life.
