Convenience Store Robbery Victim in Stable Condition

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville Police say the shooting victim of a convenience store robbery is now in stable condition.

The hold-up happened at the B-Quick Chevron on the corner of Louisville and Lynn Lane late Thursday night. Starkville police say the victim’s father reported that the first surgery was a success but he’ll have to undergo facial reconstruction surgery in the near future. The victim was in good spirits and was able to provide crucial information concerning the shooting incident in this on-going investigation.

Thirty three-year old Cedrick Young has been arrested and is charged with armed robbery as well as aggravated assault in the case.
