Cops On Doughnut Shops Raise Money For Worthy Cause

COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – Some first responders took to the rooftop of Krispy Kreme on Saturday.
It was all to raise money and awareness for the Special Olympic Athletes of Mississippi.

The officers took turns getting on the Krispy Kreme roof, encouraging customers to donate to the worthy cause.

This is the third year for the fundraiser in Columbus.

Their goal was to collect $2,000.

Krispy Kreme’s nationwide participated, raising money for Special Olympic Athletes.

It was a partnership between Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, the Columbus Police Department and Law Enforcement Torch Run Officers.
