Corinth, Alcorn County Earn Certifcation

CORINTH, Miss. (WCBI) – A three-year certification has been awarded to Corinth and Alcorn County.

The area was certified by Excel By 5 which recognizes that both locations are child-friendly.

Excel by 5 is a statewide organization that supports child development for children that range in age of infancy to 5-years-old. The organization was founded by the Mississippi State University Early Childhood Institute and Chevron.

Corinth and Alcorn County were awarded certification based on on community support and involvement, family and parent support, early care and education and health.
