Video: Court Date Set for Holloway

STARKVILLE, Miss. (WCBI) – Starkville-Oktibbeha Schools Superintendent Dr. Lewis Holloway will appear in court next month to answer simple assault charges.

Holloway was arrested yesterday after an incident Sunday night in which he allegedly fired a handgun into the air during a argument on Mt. Olive Road in Oktibbeha County.

He was released on one-thousand dollars bond.

The school board held a special meeting Monday night and placed Holloway on paid administrative leave.

He will appear in court September 15th.
