Credit Card Fraud Case Discovered
OXFORD, MS (WCBI) – Oxford Police are sorting through a growing credit card fraud case. Olive Branch Police alerted Oxford about suspected credit card fraud taking place in the city. Detectives then discovered 2 Memphis men had used stolen credit card information to buy multiple gift cards at Home Depot, Office Depot and Krogers.
26 year old Deon Darden and 27 year old Daniel Jackson are both charged with credit card fraud. The victims in the case were not aware someone had used their credit card numbers. Police are asking everyone in Oxford and surrounding areas to check their statements for unauthorized charges because police suspect the pair were targeting other Mid South cities.
