Holly Springs (WCBI) – Electrical crews and law enforcement from all over the state came to Holly Springs to help the town recover from Wednesday’s tornado.

Tupelo Water & Light, the City of Amory Electrical Department, and other agencies worked together to restore power and bring supplies to the town.

As of Thursday morning, MEMA reported more than 1,400 power outages.

Holly Springs Fire Chief and Incident Commander Kenny Holbrook thanks all agencies for their assistance and “it’s been a tremendous outpouring of people coming in, goods coming in, food, water, things of that nature…”

Holbrook adds no one in Holly Springs has been identified as missing. He also said if you want to make a donation, you can drop it off at the Holly Springs Multi-purpose Center.
