Video: Crosstown Intersection Opening Delayed

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI) — Tupelo drivers may have to wait a little bit longer before traffic is back to normal at a busy intersection.

Tupelo city officials tell WCBI the opening of the Crosstown intersection may be delayed due to the weather.

They still have to pour the asphalt, and that depends on the rain.

Crosstown had to be closed this weekend while crews repair train tracks, and the crossing at that intersection.

It was originally scheduled to reopen, Monday.
