Dog Dispute Leads To Gunfire

COLUMBUS, MS (WCBI) – A dispute over kids throwing rocks has landed a Columbus man in jail on aggravated assault charges.   Police were called Sunday afternoon to investigate claims a man was shooting at some kids on 8th Avenue South.

Officers questioned Truman garrison who admitted he fired his weapon because he thought the two kids were throwing rocks at his dog.  The juveniles involved were later found hiding and were unharmed.
