Down on Main Concert Series Kickoff in Tupelo

TUPELO, Miss. (WCBI)- The weather was perfect in downtown Tupelo for the start of the summer concert series.

The Down on Main concert at Fairpark featured two bluegrass bands.

It is the first of three concerts held on the first Thursday’s in July, August, and September.

Around 1,5000 people attend the concert. It kicks off at 6:30.

This is the seventh year for the Down on Main series, which provides family activity in downtown Tupelo.

There were plenty of refreshments and fun for all.
