Dream 365 Announces Community Award Recipients
COLUMBUS, MISS. (Press Release)—Dream 365 recognizes the 2013 Unsung Heroes and Oasis of Freedom and Justice Award recipients for the 2013 Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration.
These prestigious awards are presented annually to individuals/organizations throughout the community who exemplify the philosophies of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s vision of one day transforming Mississippi into an oasis of freedom and justice through their notable goodwill.

The recipients will be honored during the MLK Commemorative Breakfast on Monday, January 21 at the Trotter Convention Center. The breakfast will begin at 8:30 am and will also recognize student essay and creative arts contest winners, followed by a community address with keynote speaker Harry Johnson. Cost for the event is $15.
Dream 365 is a community volunteer committee responsible for hosting events during the annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebrations and awarding scholarships to deserving students in the Columbus, Mississippi area. Dream 365 has been named among the Southeast Tourism Society Top 20 Events.
