Driver Identified In Crash And Drug Bust

COLUMBUS, Miss (WCBI) – Lowndes County investigators identified the man driving a car that crashed into another vehicle when deputies tried to make a traffic stop.

Terico Vontrel Greenleaf, 37, is charged with possession of cocaine, suspended drivers license, no insurance, and other outstanding charges.

His bond was set at more than $12,000.

This past Friday, deputies say Greenleaf’s crashed at the intersection of 11th and College Streets.

Columbus police joined in a foot chase to track down Greenleaf and his passenger.

A person in the other vehicle received minor injuries.

Greenleaf’s unidentified passenger was not arrested.

Deputies say a significant amount of crack cocaine and cash was recovered.
