Video: Driver Identified in Deadly Truck Crash

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) — Mississippi state troopers are investigating a wreck that killed an Oktibbeha County truck driver Wednesday morning.

The crash happened in the westbound lane of Highway 82, just west of the Highway 45 exit, around 8:15 a.m.

State troopers say it appears the truck’s right front tire had a blowout.

The truck overturned before landing near Frontage Road.

46-year-old Terrance Ware of Starkville was taken to a Columbus hospital, where he later died.

Ware worked for Oktibbeha County for at least five years.
