Drowning Ruled As Woman’s Cause Of Death

CALHOUN COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – Calhoun County Sheriff Greg Pollan says a preliminary autopsy shows a Slate Springs women died from drowning in a creek.

Coaurtney Leigh Collins was found in a creek a few hours after she disappeared Sunday night.

Pollan says Collins and her husband were riding a four wheeler when it got stuck.

The husband to get some tools from his truck and when he return his wife was gone.

It could take weeks before toxicology tests are complete.
