PRENTISS COUNTY, Miss. (Press release) — In the early morning hours Monday, March 30, Prentiss County Narcotics Officers and Deputies arrested Joseph Windsor, 45, of Booneville, and Joshua Johnson, 33, also of Booneville, for Narcotics Violations.

The arrests resulted in Investigators executing a search warrant at Johnson’s residence and the discovery of evidence that indicated the Manufacture of Methamphetamine. Guns and cash also were seized.

Windsor was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and his bond was set at $5,000, while Johnson was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine and Possession of Methamphetamine with the Intent to Sell or Distribute.

Johnson’s bond was set at $10,000.

Also, Monday, Prentiss County Deputies arrested two individuals after they were stopped at a roadside safety checkpoint in the Ingram Community.

The individuals were identified as Jerry Wayne Potts, 29, of Guntown, and Lindsey Scruggs, 29, also of Guntown.

Both were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine (Felony) and other misdemeanor charges.  Their bonds were set at $5,000 on the Felony Possession  of Controlled Substance Charges.
