COLUMBUS, Miss. (WCBI) – The Columbus Municipal Drug Court is recognizing Red Ribbon Week.  Red Ribbon Week is a national campaign that raises awareness of drug use and the problems related to drugs facing communities. It encourages parents, educators, business owners, and community organizations to promote drug-free lifestyles. A tree planting dedication was held at Columbus High School in memory of those who’ve lost their lives in the battle against drug abuse. The week long campaign will end this Wednesday with student assemblies at Columbus High, Columbus Middle and the alternative school.
